Our History
UpLIFTD, a 501-3c non-profit agency, was incorporated as Louisiana Industries for the Disabled, Inc. in 1984. UpLIFTD was created to help people help themselves, and to make an impact on the community. Nearly anyone who experiences barriers to employment and self-sufficiency can find an opportunity at UpLIFTD. Everyday we make it our goal to empower individuals and support their goals.
